To share our experience of visiting Dr. Li's with more foreign friends, in what follows we have (coarsely) translated the above paragraph:
We went to see Dr. Li a few days ago. We were from outside of Beijing and we planned/can only afford to stay in Beijing for a limited amount of time. Dr. Li appeared to be very emphatic: he listened to our descriptions of our symptoms (leg swelling and the wounds on the right leg lasted about three years) with huge patience, furthermore, after asking a sequence of questions and giving us suggestions, he continued to attend to our questions (even though we had not made an appointment in advance and there were patients waiting to talk to him). For our concerns, his suggestions were largely about physical therapy such as lifting the (lower) legs frequently, wearing compression socks, engaging in more physical activities, etc. Dr. Li's explanation of many issues were to-the-point, combined with handwritten illustrations whenever needed, consequently, not only did we know what and how, we also knew why. In addition, he has also given us some expositional articles that are of relevance/interests to us. From this visit, we see that he is a very experienced, considerate, and helpful person. We feel very appreciative for meeting such a good doctor.
